A-Wedding Day Community Leader's Mission Statement
To create an educational, caring and nurturing, and interactive environment for bridal couples and others interested in.... (Your chosen topic). A-Wedding Day Community Leader 's Responsibilities 1. Write original informative articles, or reprint articles with permission and full credit to the author. No copyrights infringement! 2. Send out lively newsletters on a regular basis. (Daily, weekly, monthly). 3. Search the net and add appropriate links as additional resources for your special topic. If you come across links appropriate to other community leaders, E-mail them the information. 4. Create positive nurturing and mutually beneficial relationship with your readers by means of a lively interesting site, newsletters, news/mail lists, bulletins, message boards and/or chat rooms etc... 5. Create and maintain a web site that is specific to your expertise. 6. Use your ability to communicate and your creativity to maintain and moderate your news/mail list, produce a newsletter and write. 7. Be a leader! Respond to the needs of your community with relevant information. What do I need to be A-Wedding Day Community Leader? 1. Excellent communication skills including writing and editing. 2. A strong commitment to make A-Wedding Day the focal point in wedding sites, and become a household name. 3. When creating your web site you'll need to include your full name, nickname, your A-Wedding Day E-mail address, contact information, a photograph, a short biography, why you chose your specific topic, what you plan to do as a community leader and an explanation of why you think you qualify. FAQ How do I apply? Email us at nande@a-weddingday.com about your interest in becoming a community leader. Will you help me? We certainly will. Can I team with others as a group of community leaders on the topic of my choice, or do I have to do it solo? You can and should team with other specialists. If there is already a leader for the community you are applying for, A-Wedding Day will make contact between you so you may discuss your options. However you'll need one person to oversee the functioning of your chosen community. What is my time commitment? People work at different paces. Your list must be served daily, you must post at least one new article a week, and you must issue at least one E-zine a month to keep your subscribers coming back. Also you must surf the net for information and appropriate links, every day. Do I get paid for my work? A-wedding Day is brand new. At this time, your community leadership will be considered 'Labor of Love'. Later, when advertising revenue come in, we'll have a compensation plan based on your personal visitors and the advertising rates generated by your community. How soon do I need to apply? The sooner you do the better. If your topic of interest has a community leader, it will be up to the leader to decide if they want to co-lead. If so, they will interview you to make sure you are compatible. Am I an employee of A-Wedding Day? NO! You are a volunteer. Later, you will get paid as a self-contractor and be issued a 1099 form. You will be responsible to pay your own taxes. |
